The British Association of Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up (BANNFU) is seeking a member to become committee chair. BANNFU is a special interest group of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine and has a multidisciplinary membership of those with an interest in neonatal follow-up.

The primary focus of this role is to chair the committee meetings, ensure responsibilities are on track, and liaise with individual members, BAPM and other relevant organisations. This is a voluntary role and reasonable travel expenses will be covered.  Applicants must be a member of BANNFU.

“The role of Chair of BANNFU is an exciting role and enables you to work across different platforms nationally in neonatal neurodevelopment. I’ve had the opportunity in the past four years to focus on strategic matters and help in implementing BANNFU’s direction and  objectives. Looking back, it has been a very rewarding experience and would invite you to apply for this role.”   - Anusha Arasu.

To apply please send a completed application form to [email protected] by 23 July 2023.

If more than one application is received then a ballot of BANNFU members will be organised.

Future elections for other roles on the BANNFU committee will be advertised as follows:

  • Treasurer – March 2024
  • All other committee members – September 2024
