The theme of this webinar will be about challenging inequity in neonatal care through open communication with families.

Bliss has been leading a project called 'inequity in neonatal care' as part of the work being done by the Sands and Tommy's Maternity Consortium.

This webinar is suitable for all healthcare professionals who support parents with a baby in neonatal care. It will highlight how communication can affect family involvement in care - positively and negatively.

  • Learn about communication techniques and tips & how to approach conversations which might feel awkward.
  • Hear insights from our parent engagement work about what families value, and how communication can affect their involvement in care positively or negatively.
  • Learn from exciting projects which are facilitating more personalised support for families on the neonatal unit.
