In partnership with BAPM, Evelina London Neonatal Unit is undertaking a survey on the collective experience of neonatologists across the UK in managing babies born from 22+0 to 22+6 weeks gestation.

The survey follows the update to the BAPM Framework ‘Perinatal management of extreme preterm birth before 27 weeks of gestation’ in 2019. Evelina London Neonatal Unit has created a short survey in collaboration with BAPM to gather members’ experiences. The survey is in the form of an excel sheet (linked below) with a range of question formats including drop down boxes and free text boxes.

It is hoped that units across the UK will respond, and either one response or multiple responses from each unit are welcomed. Numerical data only needs to be completed once from each unit.

Completed excel sheets should be returned to [email protected]

Deadline: 1 September 2021.

Please do not include any patient identifiable information in your responses and return them using a secure nhs.net email account.

Findings from the survey will be presented later in the year. Any identifiable data or views will be anonymised.
