Guidelines for the investigation and management of Transient Leukaemia of Down Syndrome

Between 5-30% of children with Down Syndrome are born with Transient Leukaemia of Down Syndrome (also called Transient Myeloproliferative disorder). This condition carries very high early mortality - in excess of all other childhood cancers - and significant morbidity. The British Society of Haematology with contributions from the BAPM and RCPCH has developed a comprehensive guideline for the detection, investigation and management of this condition.

British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM) is registered in England & Wales under charity number 1199712 at 5-11 Theobalds Road, London, WC1X 8SH.
