Vote for your Newborn Brain Care Group committee members

Voting is now open for several roles on the Executive Committee of BAPM’s Special Interest Group, Newborn Brain Care.

The roles being voted on are:

  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Family Engagement Lead
  • Communications Officer

Members elected to the committee will play a key role in raising the profile of newborn brain care as a core component of neonatal practice, promoting subspecialty interest among trainees, supporting multidisciplinary education and training, and facilitating research and innovation that translates into improved outcomes for infants and their families.

All eligible Newborn Brain Care Group members are encouraged to cast their votes and help shape the future leadership of the group.

Voting deadline: 11:59pm, 2 August 2026.

Votes will be counted by BAPM Office staff and will be treated with complete confidentially.

The inaugural committee will consist of 6 roles outlined below, and it is anticipated a second group of committee members will join once the structure and workstreams of the SIG has been agreed, consisting of representatives from the different workstreams and a trainee representative.
