Concessionary Membership Rates
Find out if you are eligible to join BAPM at a reduced rate.
Reduced or free BAPM Membership is available to the following categories of people. It is only available to those that do not work in healthcare. Members that join in these categories are not eligible to vote or stand for BAPM elections.
Retired members - £25 per year
If you have fully retired from clinical practice you can continue your membership with BAPM on the retired rate. This allows you to continue to support BAPM by paying a reduced annual fee of £25.
Retired members still receive the monthly newsletter if desired. You can access all the member only resources on the website and attend any of our events at the member rate.
Full-time students - free
If you are a full-time bachelor level student then you are eligible for free membership of BAPM. You will need to provide details of your course and expected graduation date when you join. If you are taking further study alongside your work in healthcare please see other categories of BAPM membership.
Parents of neonatal graduates or neonatal graduates as adults - free
BAPM's resources are primarily aimed at healthcare professionals, however, we are deeply grateful to the parents and neonatal graduates that contribute to our work programme. If you are a parent or neonatal graduate that would like to join BAPM to keep up to date with our work and the wider neonatal world then you would be very welcome.
