Suggest a Topic

Submit a publication suggestion

If you would like to suggest a topic for a BAPM publication please complete the proposal form below. 

Proposals will be reviewed by the BAPM publications committee at their quarterly meetings. These will be prioritised according to the following criteria: 

• High contribution to mortality, morbidity or disability
• Areas where there is uncertainty which has led to wide variation in clinical practice and service delivery.
• Areas where novel high-quality evidence is available and should be adopted into clinical care.
• Areas where there are resource implications particularly where there is an interface between complex pathways eg between primary/secondary care.
• Areas where there is high risk of litigation and safety concerns.
• High impact on Families
• High impact on Staff
• Feasibility with BAPM resources

Please note we do receive a lot of suggestions for publications so if the topic is approved it may be a while before work can get started. The chair and working group members will be recruited through an open process. BAPM will not consider publications where there's ongoing work or existing guidelines.
