Neonatal Neurology Assessment and Treatment Education (NeoNATE) has been developed by the BPNA with Consultant Neonatologist colleagues. The aim is to improve neonatal neurological education and therefore improve the diagnosis and management of neonates with neurological disorders.

NeoNATE is a practical two-day course for anyone who looks after neonates. The course consists of lectures and interactive workshops. It is delivered by a faculty of both paediatric neurologists and neonatologists, who give a unique perspective on a wide range of conditions and problems specific to neonatal care.

NeoNATE offers an introduction to neurological assessment and condition in neonates. It covers a wide range of conditions, as well as HIE and pre term birth.
