This virtual conference will present the findings of the 10th MBRRACE-UK report of Saving Lives, Improving Mothers' Care: findings of the surveillance of maternal mortality in the UK 2019-2021 and lessons learned to inform maternity care from the UK and Ireland Confidential Enquiries into Maternal Death and Morbidity 2019-2021.
The causes of maternal deaths covered in this report are deaths from:
- Infection / Sepsis Haemorrhage and AFE
- Anaesthetic causes
- Neurologic causes
- Other indirect causes.
MBRRACE-UK also conducted an enquiry into morbidity following repeat caesarean section and will present the findings of this.
