The National Neonatal Surgical Interest Group in association with Neonatal Nurses Association is hosting an MDT education day to celebrate the publication of the Best Practice framework of nutritional and feeding management for the surgical neonate.
The day is aimed at all members of the MDT who care for this small, unique group of neonates.
Topics and speakers include:
- Publication of the Best Practice framework of nutritional and feeding management for the surgical neonate
- Neonatal consultant discussing nutritional management and a review of the framework
- Great Ormond Street Hospital Neonatal Nutritional Outreach Service
- FICARE and the surgical neonate
- Introduction by the successful NNA Neonatal Surgical Scholarship candidate
- Neonatal Surgical Service Change an example in practice
- Speech and Language involvement for the surgical neonate
