Colleagues from across the UK and beyond will come together for the BAPM Annual Conference 2026, in Nottingham for a very special year, celebrating BAPM’s 50th anniversary.
This year’s Annual Conference promises to be a landmark event. Across three days, with workshops on 15 September and the main conference on 16–17 September, we will bring together cutting-edge research, expert insight and real-world perspectives from across neonatal and perinatal care.
The event will be an opportunity to connect, reflect and look ahead to the future of newborn care.

Travelling by car
Please find a detailed travel and parking guide here.
Please note: To park on site, you will need to register your car here. If you fail to do so and receive a parking ticket, the venue can not reverse this for you, and it will be your responsibility to pay. You only need to register your car once.
There are EV chargers on site, but these are limited, and please note they are slow chargers.
Travelling by public transport
The Toton - Hucknall tram line links the university campus with Nottingham train station. The University of Nottingham stop at the South Entrance to University Park is closest to the venue.
Registration
Registration will take place in room A15, from 08:00 on Wednesday 16 and 07:30 on Thursday 17 September 2026.
5K Run
If you would like to take part in the 5k run on Wednesday 16 September please meet outside The East Midlands Conference Centre at 06:40 ready to start the run at 06:45.

Conference Dinner & BAPM Decades Party
Get ready to celebrate 50 fabulous years of BAPM with the ultimate rewind party! Join us on Wednesday 16 September for a three‑course dinner and disco that will take you on a musical journey from the 70s right through to today. Outfits inspired by your favourite decade from the last 50 years are strongly encouraged.
A delicious set menu will be served on the night, and of course, all dietary requirements will be happily catered for.
The conference dinner will take place in the Conference Theatre at the East Midlands Conference Centre which is approx 11-minute walk from the conference venue.
Tickets are £55 inc VAT and includes a 3-course meal, DJ and dance floor. Drinks are not included but can be purchased at the bar.
