Since 2014 Prof Murray and her team has been using advances in gaming and touchscreen technology to develop novel touchscreen based tasks to assess early executive function including the Babyscreen and CogniTOT tablet based assessments. 

These assessments have been tested in over 1000 children across 12 countries. Prof Murray will discuss the pros and cons of tablet based tasks, progress to date on development and validation of these tasks; their concurrent validity and preliminary data on their potential predictive ability.
