Newborns Vietnam seeks a volunteer neonatal educationalist to join a working group of neonatologists experienced in teaching in Vietnam. Meetings are virtual.

Building on years of clinical training and educator development at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (NHOG), Hanoi, the organisation is working with Vietnamese educators to turn an established eight-week neonatal course into six reusable teaching modules.

The programme will initially be tested through NHOG and outreach across northern and central Vietnam, with the longer-term aim of Ministry of Health approval for CME credits and wider national use.

You will help develop learning objectives, teaching materials, pre- and post-course tests and clinical assessments, while supporting Vietnamese educators to deliver and refine the programme.

The team welcomes someone with neonatal or medical education experience, particularly in curriculum development and assessment, and a collaborative approach to adapting education to local needs.

This is a voluntary role, with the time commitment agreed together.
