Nurse Representative Needed for BAPM Data Group

We are seeking one or more nurses to join BAPM’s Data and Informatics Steering Group. We are especially interested in nurses who can offer a personal perspective on the day-to-day experiences of inputting neonatal data.

The BAPM Data and Informatics Steering Group is a multi-professional group of perinatal professionals that leads BAPM's data work.

The remit of the group includes:

• Advocacy for the collection and use of accurate data to benefit patient care and neonatal services.
• Development of shared resources to support perinatal professionals to maximise the utility of data to benefit patient care.
• Promotion of a nationally standardised approach to quality measure definitions and interoperability of EPR systems, reducing the burden of data entry for clinical staff.
• Facilitation of collaborative engagement between stakeholders to streamline data collection, curation and analysis for common purposes.
• The group meets 3-4 times per year and all meetings will be virtual. No previous experience of BAPM working groups is required.
