The ShAPE study, which aims to facilitate the development of an evidence-based information tool, which can be used by parents and clinicians when faced with clinical decisions on NICU, is looking for units to help recruit participants.

Researchers are looking for participants who have had a baby who has been discharged from hospital and, within the past six months, received one of the following treatments whilst on a neonatal unit:

  • Steroid Therapy for Chronic Lung Disease
  • Medication for Persistent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)
  • Transfusion of Blood Products.

Participants will be invited to an interview to discuss their experience of clinical discussions about their babies care whilst on the neonatal unit.

Participant flyers are linked below. For more information email Dr Daniel Keen, Neonatal GRID Trainee [email protected]
