BAPM is delighted that NHS England has listened to our concerns regarding the need for improved protection against RSV infection for babies who were born prematurely who are at higher risk of serious illness from RSV bronchiolitis.
The recent announcement ensures that all babies <32 weeks will have access to this important protective vaccine in September/October, prior to the start of the winter RSV.
