We still need a few members to join a working group to develop a service specification for Neonatal Data Requirements. You do not need to be a data expert, we are looking for data system users that can contribute to conversations about the needs and priorities of neonatal staff. 

Currently NHS Trusts are procuring a variety of EHRS solutions from different of service providers. This creates a number of challenges for neonatology, a service with complex and unique data needs.

The aim of this service specification is to support those working within Trusts that are in in the process of EHRS procurement. The document should assist with conversations between the neonatal teams and hospital procurement teams to ensure that neonatal teams are provided with digital solutions that are appropriate for clinical care needs and support high quality data sharing for reporting.

We are looking for:

  • 1 LNU/ SCU Consultant
  • 1 Nurse
  • 1 Midwife
  • 1 AHP
  • 1 Pharmacist
  • 1 Parent

No previous experience of BAPM working groups is required.

It is envisaged that this work will take approximately four months and involve 2-3 virtual meetings although more may be scheduled if needed. All meetings will be virtual.
