The British Association of Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up (BANNFU) is seeking a member to become President. BANNFU is a special interest group of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine and has a multidisciplinary membership of those with an interest in neonatal follow-up.

The primary focus of this role is to act as a spokesperson on behalf of BANNFU in liaison with other committee members. The President represents BANNFU on external forums, liaises directly with incoming communication from BAPM and other channels and deputises for the Chair in their absence. This is a voluntary role and reasonable travel expenses will be covered.

Applicants must be a member of BANNFU.

Outgoing President Angela HC says “Over the past few years, BANNFU has developed from a local to a national organisation and continues to grow. I have very much enjoyed my time as President and have been proud to have been part of this wonderful committee of dedicated volunteers. I look forward to seeing how BANNFU develops next.”

Future elections for other roles on the BANNFU committee will be advertised as follows:

  • Chair – September 2023
  • Secretary – March 2024
  • Treasurer – March 2024
  • All other committee members – September 2024
