BAPM is seeking members to join a working group to review BAPM's Newborn Early Warning Trigger & Track (NEWTT) Tool. The tool was first published in 2015 and tracks patients requiring regular observations in order to detect deterioration in their clinical signs early, prompting escalation and timely assessment.

The group will also support a broader piece of work on highlight processes for identifying and managing any deteriorating baby regardless of the clinical setting (including the community) and will link with evidence and outputs from the ATAIN programme.

We are looking for consultants, trainees, neonatal nurses and midwives from across all 3 levels of unit as well as parent representatives to join the group. To apply please read the terms of reference for the group and contact the BAPM office including 1 paragraph outlining the reason for your interest and any relevant experience to join the group.
