This June, Sands is running the "Finding the words: supporting the NHS to support families" campaign.

The death of a baby is life changing for families and excellent care is crucial to their long term wellbeing, but supporting bereaved families can be one of the most challenging parts of the job for professionals.

Sands offers a range of support for staff working in the NHS to equip them with the confidence and skills to care for families when the worst happens, including bereavement support, advice, accredited training and resources.

The campaign aims to ensure that healthcare professionals know where they can access this support. Visit the Sands website and follow the hashtag #FindingTheWords to discover all the help that is available.

Sand have also produced an animation to illustrate the importance of this support.
