Bliss has launched a new, video call support service for anyone with a baby on the neonatal unit or who has recently been discharged. This includes grandparents and other family members.
Families can book a video call with an experienced volunteer to talk about how they are feeling, share their experiences, ask questions and get some extra support. This is particularly important when families are disconnected from their usual support networks due to COVID-19.
The service is available to any family anywhere in the UK and families can book repeat appointments easily via the Bliss website or by emailing [email protected].
The service will continue to be available after lockdown restrictions have lifted so healthcare professionals are asked to signpost families to this new service.
