BAPM member needed for RCPCH PCO expert review panel

11 July 2019

The RCPCH Paediatric Care Online (PCO UK) editorial team are looking for two volunteers, from BAPM, to join the external expert peer review panel.
To ensure that content developed is fit for purpose and will assist all child health professionals as they make decisions at the point of care, we carry out reviews with a group of nominated experts, namely a GP, Nurse, Health Visitor, Paediatric Trainee and representatives from relevant Specialty Groups.
The role of the external expert peer reviewers will be to check and comment on readability and flow within newly developed Key Practice Points (KPPs), as well as detail and coverage, language, and patient/carer information according to the specialty.
There are no meetings to attend and it is expected that a topic review will take no longer than 2-hours to complete remotely. Volunteer reviewers will be assigned KPPs to comment on and have approximately 2-weeks to return comments/amendments which will then be passed on for consideration.
