The annual membership fee is currently £125.00 for medical members; £75.00 for trainee members; £50.00 for Nurses/ANNP, Allied Health Professionals, Foundation Year Doctors and retired members; and free for medical and nursing students*.
Membership fees are collected by direct debit on an annual basis (01 April). Those without a UK bank account are permitted to pay their membership fee by cheque, credit/debit card, or by BACS.
Applications received part-way through the year incur the following charges for the year up to 01 April. PLEASE NOTE: Completed direct debit forms only come into effect the first April after joining. Therefore new members are required to pay their first year's part year payment either by PayPal (on completing the application form).

*The free student rate applies only to those on Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery courses, or BSc/BNurse courses. It does not apply to PhD, MSc, or ANNP students.
