Call for Abstracts

Abstracts are invited for possible inclusion in the programme for the Annual Scientific Meeting on Friday, 17 September 2010. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 5pm on 23 July 2010. Your abstract will be anonymised for adjudication and successful entrants will be notified by 9 August 2010.

Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts online at www.bapm.org but if that is inconvenient, copies of the abstract form can be obtained from the BAPM Office. Only those abstracts received via the website or submitted using the official abstract form (emailed or posted to the BAPM office) will be considered for selection.

Those abstracts selected will be displayed as posters in the Exhibition Area. The authors of the abstracts receiving the highest scores will be invited to give a brief presentation of their abstract in the Main Lecture Theatre with time allocated for questions and challenges. Abstracts selected for display and presentation will be published in the delegate brochure for the conference. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words long and should include: aims, methods, results and conclusions. Any abstract that does not include results will not be considered for selection.

Successful presenters will not be exempt from payment of the meeting registration fee. BAPM will not be able to reimburse any expenses incurred as a result of attending the meeting.
